David Tannous:You use the word "voyeur." That's a loaded term, and a very interesting one. How do you mean it, and how does it apply to your early life? Joyce Tenneson: I think I am a voyeur, but I don't attach a negative connotation to the word. From an early age I always had a private world—quite separate from the day-to-day world around me. I felt very different from the rest of my family, and I read constantly. |
